Junction 8 Omega

The 40 acre land parcel situated off Junction 8 of the M62 in Cheshire lying adjacent to the Omega Industrial and Distribution Zone. The site is currently in use as agricultural farming land, the advisor identified a potential requirement by Warrington Borough Council who have an employment land shortfall of 209ha, the local planning authority are reviewing the greenbelt in order to release or re allocate land for development within the borough. The site has been promoted through the allocation process from agricultural use to a 475,000 Sq ft Industrial & Distribution warehouse. The Greenbelt review is under consideration, once approved the development will have an anticipated GDV of £70M.
